### Home stack shortcuts

If you’re using the Home stack that comes with HyperCard, you can type the following messages into the Message box as shortcuts for various authoring and scripting tasks:

  `c`   Opens the Card Info dialog box

  `b`   Opens the Bkgnd Info dialog box

  `s`   Opens the Stack Info dialog box

  `mw`  Show the Message watcher

 `nav`  Display the navigator palette

  `se`  Set the text font and size for the Script Editor

  `ss`  Search all the scripts in a stack for a string

  `vw`  Show the Variable watcher

  `xy`  Continually puts the mouse location into the Message box until you click
